DECK.OIL – Protective Oil for Exterior Wood

A plant-based protective oil made from a balanced blend of natural oils (linseed, wood oils, etc.), specifically developed for outdoor use.

Application Instructions

1. Prepare the wood by sanding up to grit 120
2. Apply the product using a roller, brush, or cotton pad

First coat:

• Especially after using DECK RESET (on raw wood), apply generously (approx. 50–80 g/m²) until full saturation is achieved
• The wood should be fully soaked and stop absorbing the product

3. After 5–10 minutes:

• If needed, polish with a soft cloth or single-disc machine (white or beige pad)
• Remove any excess product

Second coat (if needed):

• Apply within 3 days
• Use a smaller amount (approx. 40–50 g/m²)
• Remove excess as described above

⚠ Excess product may cause stickiness and reduce durability

Durability

The durability of the treatment depends on:

• exposure conditions
• foot traffic intensity

Surfaces exposed to strong sunlight or marine environments (salt) will require more frequent maintenance.

Maintenance

Routine maintenance consists of three steps:

1. Dust removal (mop or vacuum cleaner)
2. Cleaning with SOAP.OIL
3. Application of OIL.CARE

Every 3–6 months (depending on exposure), apply a maintenance coat of DECK.OIL following the same procedure.

• Shake well before use
